Earning a Private or Commercial pilot license is the first big step toward achieving the dream of flight. However, if you are aiming to become a Commercial Airline Pilot, you will need to earn a Type Rating for the specific aircraft which you want to operate. A Type Rating is what allows aspiring pilots to navigate and operate the larger Commercial Jet planes, such as a Boeing 737/777/787 or an Airbus 220/320/330/350.

A Type Rating is basically the benchmark required by standardized agencies in order to operate certain types of aircraft. Type Ratings are required in addition to the initial Commercial Pilot’s license as well as the specific airplane class training.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Indian CPL/ATPL, FRTOL, RTR etc. Valid & Current till end of the course.
  • Indian CPL/ATPL should have a Multi Engine Rating/Endorsement with IR.
  • Class-I Medical Assessment/CA-35 Valid & Current till end of the course.
  • ICAO (min) Level-4 English Language Proficiency Valid & Current till end of the course.
  • Passport Validation for at least 06 months.
